Fans of ‘The Simpsons‘ are convinced that the show has made another future prediction; this time about a three-eyed fish.

Over its 35-year history, ‘The Simpsons’ has made several future predictions, such as Donald Trump’s presidency, Germany’s victory in the World Cup, and even the ending of ‘Game of Thrones’; now, the episode ‘Two Cars in Every Garage and Three Eyes on Every Fish’ from the second season has also been added to the list.

In the story, first aired in November 1990, Marge Simpson cooks for Mr. Burns, the owner of Springfield’s nuclear power plant and Homer’s boss. However, the billionaire is shocked when Marge serves the three-eyed fish, Blinky, on his plate. This anomaly is the result of pollution caused by Burns’ power plant.

This week, a Reddit user shared a photo of a “three-eyed cod” caught off the coast of Greenland, and the image quickly drew comparisons to Blinky, prompting fans of the show to point out a new prophecy.

The social media post attracted internet users and sparked many humorous comments; “It took a few decades, but ‘The Simpsons’ hit the mark,” said one; “So Springfield was in Greenland!” responded another, reminding that Springfield’s location was never revealed.
